SANDUR is a one of the taluk of Bellary District, KARNATAKA. Before Independence of India, Sandur was one of the
princely state and was ruled by GORPHADE Family.

Sandur is the coolest tourism spot and is fully covered with beautiful iron ore mountains.Sandur Iron ore is quite rich deposits of Manganese.

Sandur is situated west side to Bellary District, Karnataka, India, and the road distance between Sandur and Bellary is around 60 KM.














Naari Halla Jalashaya, Visitors can enjoy boating in Naari Halla Jalashaya. This Jalashaya   is fullfill the Sandur People Drinking water needs. This is one of the best natural & wonder full place in Sandur.





Narasimha Swamy Temple:- Narasimha swamy is one of the another name for Lord Vishnu. Narshimha was killed a cruel Danavendra Hiranyakashapu & he stayaid here for protecting the whole sourounding area.




 Kumarswami temple is situated on South-west corner and on the hill. It is around 12KM away Sandur.

   Kumarswami temple is one of the oldest temple of Karnataka. The temple has Parvathy, Ganesh, and Kumarswami and Kartikeya idols.

Kartikeya idols. the temple was built but the Chalukyas.
